The warm, light-filled dining room at The Marisol at golden hour

Dining · Amenities · The local guide

The day, well fed and well spent

Three kitchens that start at the harbor, a saltwater pool, a bluff-edge spa — and a coastline our concierge knows by heart.

Dining

Sea-to-table, three ways

Our kitchens lean on one idea: the shorter the trip from water to plate, the better the meal. The harbor is a mile down the coast. The kitchen garden is out back. Everything in between is ours.

Saltgrass at The Marisol
Sea-to-table dinner

Saltgrass

Nightly · 5:30–10:00 PM

Our flagship room, where the day's catch from the harbor a mile down the coast meets the kitchen garden out back. The menu changes with the tide and the season — expect a half-dozen oysters, something just off the grill, and a wine list that leans hard into the Central Coast.

The Terrace at The Marisol
All-day & golden-hour

The Terrace

Daily · 11:00 AM–sunset

Lunch, a long afternoon spritz, and the best seat for sunset. Cold plates, a wood-fired flatbread, and a frozen something with your name on it, served on the bluff-edge deck where the only soundtrack is surf and the occasional gull.

The Pantry at The Marisol
Breakfast & coffee bar

The Pantry

Daily · 7:00–11:00 AM

Stone-ground pastries, a proper flat white, soft eggs and good bread, and a basket to carry down to the cove if you'd rather eat with your feet in the sand. Included for suite guests; à la carte for everyone else.

Questions, answered

Still wondering about something? Our front desk is glad to help — and they answer fast.

Plan your stay
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. We're glad to hold luggage on either side so you can chase one more sunset — just ask the front desk.
Is The Marisol on the water?
We sit ninety feet above a private cove on Pelican Point. A switchback stair and a short bluff trail bring you to the sand and tide pools in about four minutes.
Do you allow dogs?
Yes — two of our garden rooms are dog-friendly for travelers with a well-mannered companion. A bed, bowls, and a trail map come standard. Please note it when you inquire.
Is parking available?
Complimentary self-parking is on-site, and valet runs Friday through Sunday. The hotel is fully walkable to the village, so most guests park once and leave the keys with us.
Can you help plan a celebration?
Absolutely. Our concierge arranges everything from a bluff-top dinner for two to a thirty-guest welcome reception in the courtyard. Tell us the occasion in your reservation note.
