Running the length of the manor's south face, the terrace is where guests gather as the ceremony ends — Champagne in hand, the parterre and valley laid out below. Wide stone steps descend into the formal gardens, and as the light goes the lanterns come up along the balustrade. A natural stage for toasts, receiving lines, and the first golden hour of married life.
