The Summit 22 sits somewhere between a running vest and a daypack. The harness wraps the chest so the load stops bouncing, and the front pockets put two soft flasks and a day of food where your hands already are.
We kept the back panel breathable and the whole thing seam-light. It's the pack for big-mileage days when stopping to dig through a top-loader breaks your rhythm.
